John 10:16.....I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.

Our wonderful Creator and Master of us all, we thank you for Your goodness. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for giving us a caring Shepherd. Jesus loves us all, no matter where we come from. Help us to do the same. Let us show the love of Jesus so others will hear Him and follow Him all the way to Your throne. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I Must Bring Them Also

A child is packing for an overnight stay.
She's going to Grandma's to giggle and play.
Her mom waiting patiently by her room door,
Watches her gather her teddy and more.

"Teddy comes everywhere with me," she said.
"And here's my rabbit, my dog, and my blanket from bed.
These others are broken. They're dirty and such,
But I must bring them also, 'cause I love them so much."

Jesus' words spoken true, and straight to our hearts.
He loves us in spite of our dark, broken parts.
He gathers His treasures from the East to the West.
He loves them the same, there's no one who's best.

We patiently wait at the doors of our souls
For Jesus to gather His treasures of gold.
He says there are many who've wandered and such,
But He must bring them also, 'cause He loves them so much.

Mark 10:15.....Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Dear God, our beautiful, precious God, Thank you for opening Your arms to so many. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for being a father that will never let us down. Help those who are leary, to trust You. Help them see that You are willing to help them. We could never be perfect, and when we admit that, and open ourselves to You, You will bless us here in this life and in our eternal life too. In Jesus' giving name, we pray. Amen.

Be That Child

A child can't do it
Without father's help.
He can't tie his shoes
Or buckle his belt.

He can't cut the grass.
He can't clean a stall.
I child needs help
And he knows who to call.

He trusts in his father
To do what he can't.
He knows he will help;
His father's his champ.

When we humble ourselves
And tell God our need,
He will come through
Because we believe.

Deuteronomy 10:14,15 To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it. Yet the LORD set his affection on your ancestors and loved them, and he chose you, their descendants, above all the nations—as it is today.

Our glorious Father, yes, everything belongs to You. You made everything and You care for everything. We are part of that everything! Praise Jesus! Please forgive us for our sins. And please receive our thanks and our praise. In Jesus' sweet name, we pray. Amen.

Gethsemane and Me

My Father:
He made the manger
That Jesus laid in.
He made the mount
That He taught on.
He made the garden
That Jesus prayed in.
He made the tree
That He hung on.

How amazing it is to me
That a man such as this;
So powerful,
So wise,
So perfect,
Would also make me,
And love me as His child.

1 Corinthians 10:13.....No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so

that you can endure it.

Dear God, our great Provider, thank you for always being near. Please forgive us for our sins. You have provided us with Your Spirit to guide us in all areas of our lives and we thank You. Because He is always here, let us be reminded to ask for guidance and wisdom when faced with choices. And in our desire to please You help us to follow where the Holy Spirit leads. In Jesus' faithful name, we pray. Amen.

We Can Rise Above it All

He rose up from the grave.
He rose above our sin.
If we indeed are one with Christ
We too will rise and live.

We can rise above temptation.
We can rise above defeat.
We can rise above our lonely days.
We can rise if we believe.

No chains or bars can hold us;
No hands of beastly strength.
No words that hurt like fire
Can hold us or constrain.

We can rise above our anger.
We can rise above the stress.
If we indeed are one with Christ
We can rise and live life, blessed.

Deuteronomy 10:12..... And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

Dear God, You are so wonderful and so worthy. You shouldn't have to ask us for our love and loyalty to You. Please forgive us for our sins. Please let Your Holy Spirit guide us as we live each day, leading us in words and actions that are pleasing to You. Words and actions that show You our love. Because we do love You and You deserve all that we have and all that we are. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Live in Reverence

Listen to your Father.
Obey His good commands.
Worship Him and love Him
With your heart and both your hands.

Hear the words He gives you.
Follow His narrow road.
Serve Him well and love Him
With your heart and all your soul.

That's all that is required.
That's all that He expects.
Living in His presence
In Holy reverence.

John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd

lays down his life for the sheep.

Our dearest God, Our God with a plan, we thank you. Thank you for having a plan for every part of our lives. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for having a plan of forgiveness and renewal. Thank you for Jesus who sacrificed His life for us. Please continue to call Your sheep. In our Shepherd's name, we pray. Amen.

Great is the Shepherd

Like a sheep, I wandered off
But my shepherd, He stood by.
He never turned
His back on me,
But on me, He kept His eye.
He showed me patience through the times
That I was lost from Him.
He protected me.
He provided me.
His unfailing love would win.
I heard Him as He called my name.
He stretched His hand to me.
I reached for Him
He pulled me close
And my soul He washed it clean.
So great is our Shepherd Christ
Who cares for all us sheep.
His love is true.
His love it lasts.
And my love I give to thee.

Hebrews 10:10 .....And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Our precious Creator, the Maker of all that is good, we thank You. Thank You for the beauty of the earth that we are living in. Please forgive us for our sins. We don't deserve the beauty of Your creation, the pictures and views that You create, but You've blessed us with them anyway. And we don't deserve the crown of life but through Your Son, we will receive it. Thank you for making us Holy and worthy through following Your Son. And may we give You glory for it now as we live here today. In Jesus' Holy name, we pray. Amen

A Crown of Beauty

The crown above my head,
It may not be complete.
But there is a finished crown
Waiting just for me.
Jesus wore a crown of thorns.
A crown I should have worn.
But in great love, He paid my sin
And my debt, it is no more.
The crown that God is holding,
He gives to us who wait;
Who wait for His return to earth
When He'll carry us away.
I saw a crown of beauty
Made of brightly colored leaves.
A beautiful reminder of
What God has saved for me.
Thank you, Jesus, Lord of life
For all that you have done.
For giving me your righteousness
For showing me your love.

Romans 10:9.... If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Our beautiful God, You are wonderful and worthy of our love. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for Your forgiveness and thank you for giving us a way to be saved and given eternal life. .Know the Way Out

Jesus had died.
His body a corpse.
Wrapped in grave clothes.
Sealed in a tomb.

But He came out!
Rose up from the dead.
Folded His napkin.
'Cause He wasn't through.

One day it will happen.
You too will have died.
It'd be important
To know the way out.

Christ knows the way.
Just ask Him today.
He'll show you new birth
No doubt.

He is our hope,
Our living hope
Of a life
That can't be abolished.

He'll show us the way
To a life evermore.
Just as His father
Had promised.

Proverbs 10:8.....The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.

Dear God, Thank you for being a loving Father. You give us commands and You give us wisdom. We don't always make the right choices, but You give us forgiveness when we confess. Please forgive us for our sins. Please let Your Holy Spirit make Your commands clear to us. Please convict our hearts when we are wrong. And help us to follow Your commands. We don't want to make foolish choices. We want to live right by you. In Jesus' wise name we pray. Amen.

Are You Wise?

It would behoove you
To follow God's laws,
To keep His commands,
To hear when He calls.

God is all love.
He will not mislead you.
He's there by your side.
He never will leave you.

Accept all His laws.
They're all that is right.
Given to strengthen,
Like food for your life.

Keep His commands
And you will be wise.

Till you get the prize.

Matthew 10:7.....As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’

Oh, precious Lord, Your Kingdom awaits us and we are blessed. Thank you for Jesus who died so that we could be clean enough to enter through Your gates. Please forgive us for our sins. Let our words and actions be a testimony of Your love. A love that wants to bless. We pray for Your patience with those who don't know you yet. Please be persistent in calling their name. We ask this in our Savior's Name. Praise Jesus! Amen.

Heaven's Waiting

Heaven is waiting for you,
It has a room with a view.
It has the warmth of the sunshine,
The light of the moon.

It has smiles abundantly,
Love that is free,
No pain and no sadness,
Just joy and God's peace.

Heaven is waiting for you.
Your place has been claimed.
Christ paid your ticket
When He died unashamed.

Accept God's forgiveness.
Believe, it is true.
Because of His mercy,
Heaven's waiting for you.

I Corinthians 10:6.... Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.

Lord, you are so wise and Your wisdom is so beautiful to us. You gave us Your word with lessons and warnings and promises. And we need to keep those words in our hearts and out minds. Please forgive us for our sins. Please help us to keep from evil ways. And may we use the lessons we've learned to teach others so maybe they can be spared the same pain. In Jesus' Holy name, we pray. Amen.

Your Pain, Their Blessing

If you've ever stumbled,
Fallen flat on your face,
Got back up and
Received God's grace,

If you've ever fallen,
Been tested and tried,
Let it be a lesson
A word to the wise.

If you've ever wondered
Why God allows pain,
Your story's a warning
To teach and to train.

Just like the Israelites
From Egypt to Cannon,
Your story's a lesson
To stay far from sin.

Share your misfortune:
The lessons, the cost.
Let God make it a blessing
To those who're lost.

Proverbs 10:5.....He who gathers crops in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.

Father, God, You are good and caring and loving. Thank you for Your provisions. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for providing soil and seed and animals. And also tools and wisdom to harvest and use what you allow to grow. Help us to work at whatever job you provide. Let our harvest, whatever it may look like, be a blessing to others as well as our own. We ask in Jesus' name, Amen.

Autumn's Harvest

Pumpkins picked from orchards
Sweet cream from the farmer's cow
God's bounty from the field to the fork.

Red apples picked and peeled
Cinnamon sticks dried and stored
God's gifts from treetops to tables.

Hay bales stacked for winter
Sheep's wool spun and woven for warmth
God's care from farm to family.

Proverbs 10:4.....Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.

Lord, You are glorious and everything You've made is glorious. We praise You. Please forgive us for our sins. And God, please make our hands diligent at the work you give for us to do. And for those who are hurt, weak, or tired please give them enough grace to give themselves some grace. And let all that we do and accomplish bring glory to your name. In Your Son's name, we pray. Amen.

God Bless the Farmer

It's dark outside.
There's a light in the window.
There's a man inside holding a fork.

The sun is now rising.
The rooster crows boldly.
It's giving its morning report.

The apples above,
From the big apple tree,
Look so incredibly sweet.

A stone from a wall
Holds open the door,
And through it, there's so much to see.

There on the floor
Is a man on his knees.
Before he continues, he prays,

He's got milk in a pail,
Grain in a bucket,
And his fork, He puts in the hay.

He'll work on the farm
That his dad used to tend,
Thanking God for his tractor and horse.

Singing Him praises
For all he's been given;
His family, his plow, and his fork.

Proverbs 10:3.....The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.

Our beautiful, faithful Provider, Thank you for taking care of those who follow Your Son. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for seeing our needs and fulfilling each one according to your wisdom. Knowing that we are never out of your sight should bring us great peace. Sometimes it seems there's no way, But You make a way. May others come calling to You for help and receive Your grace and provisions. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen

God Will Make a Way

It was a cold winter's morning.
No feeder to be found.
A pair of Cardinals looked for food
Up high and on the ground.

Then Mr. Cardinal spotted,
On a house across the way,
Someone hung dried corn cobs
On a door to decorate.

He flew across the walkway
And landed on the door.
Followed by his Mrs. who
Was hungry even more.

He landed on the corn husks
And began to pick and eat.
But first, he fed his Mrs.
On the sill beneath his feet.

Isn't God so wonderful
How he puts things into place?
Knowing Winter's cold would come,
He made another way.

Isaiah 10:1-2.....1 Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, 2 to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless.

Dear God, You are precious to us, like Your children are precious to You. Please forgive us for our sins. Show us where we can help Your people: the poor, the battered, the lonely. Give us what we need including the courage to stand up and help others no matter who they are. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Defending God's People

God wants us to be generous
To the needs of other souls,
To the orphans and the widows,
To the young and to the old,

To those who are forgotten,
Less intelligent, less famed,
To the abused, disenfranchised,
The labeled instead of named.

God never wants His children
To be badgered or pursued,
Not pushed aside or ignored.
For His heart, it does include

Every male and every female,
From the east coast to the west,
Every race and every color.
There's none that He loves best.

Let's not worry about opinions
Of others who are cruel.
Let's stand up for the weary.
Let God's love be our tool.

Let's overcome the powerful
Who use their strength to hurt.
Let's show kindness and acceptance;
Let the lowly feel their worth.

Let them know that their lives matter.
Let them know that they're God's choice.
For those who fear to speak up
Let others be their voice.

Lord, give our hearts compassion
Help us overcome the hate.
May we show Your love to others;
And Your mercy and Your grace.

Proverbs 10:1.....The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son brings grief to his mother.

Our dear loving Father, Thank you for offering us adoption if we believe and follow Your Son. Your love is amazing. Please forgive us for our sins. Please forgive us when we are being foolish. Please help us make our parents proud. Please help us make You proud. We bring You our love. We also want to bring You joy and our parents joy In Jesus' righteous name, we pray. Amen.

A Mother's Blessed Heart

Sitting in her special place,
Quietly and blessed,
A daughter fills her mother's heart
With pride and thankfulness.

Reading from Her Father's words.
Taking in the gold.
Wisdom from the Bible
To cherish and to hold.

God's love is all around her.
It's sitting at her feet.
It's being held in her hands
And behind her in the trees.

He's getting all the praises
For this reassuring sight.
For showing to this mother,
He's in her daughter's eyes.

Prayers are lifted upwards
For His mercy and His grace
That she, her precious daughter,
Would love all in His name.

Thank you, God, in Heaven
For giving us a peek.
A peek inside Your window
As you as You love and as You reach.

Exodus 9:29......Moses replied, “When I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands in prayer to the LORD. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth is the LORD’s.

Dear Lord of thunder and rain, Lord of storms on earth and also in our lives, we praise Your good name. Please forgive us for our sins. Please hold us close as we face the storms in our lives. Keep us strong, keep us from harm, bring us safely to the other side. In Jesus' saving name we pray. Amen.

Praying Through the Storm

Father, God, Creator
Of the wind and clouds and rain,
Thank you for Your goodness,
Watching over us each day.

Even though the fear's been set
Because of days ago,
We know there's nothing greater
Than You, who loves us so.

Please keep our families safe and warm,
Providing from Your hand.
Our only hope is in You, God,
The Maker of our land.

Asking that you calm the hearts
Of all who's in harm's way.
Remind us of Your power
And Your love for all You've made.

Nothing can come near our homes
That doesn't first pass by
Your strong, commanding hands
And Your caring, watchful eye.

Help us keep our confidence
In You, who calmed the sea.
And when the storm is over
All glory give to Thee.

Hebrews 9:28..... so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Oh, our most merciful God, we thank you. Thank you for making a way for our salvation. You are so loving and so wise. Please forgive us for our sins. Please help us live in such a way that others will want to follow and have salvation when Christ returns. We ask in our Savior's mighty name, Amen.

Will You Be Ready?

The Lord is coming
We don't know when;
He'll come like a thief in the night.
Will you be ready
When He makes His return?
Will you be ready to meet Jesus Christ?
There's a lake of fire.
There is a peace in Heaven.
Where will you go from this world?
The day is coming.
Have you given it thought?
Will you be ready to meet with the Lord?
Have you lived God's way
Or have you been careless,
Thinking you have plenty of time?
The hour is coming.
Will you be ready?
Will you be ready to meet Jesus Christ?

May Our Prayers Be Seen

May our prayers go past Your ears, Lord.
May they spread across the land.
May our prayers to You be seen
In our presence, where we stand.

May Your Spirit give us words
For prayer of peace and passion.
May our prayer requests be seen
In each and every action.

When we humbly come and pray
A confession of our sin,
May others see our prayer
In the way that we forgive.

May we pray to have Your will
In every single day.
May our faith and hope be seen
In our patience as we wait.

Thank you, God, for hearing
The prayers that our hearts speak.
Please let them go beyond your ears.
Please help our prayers be seen.

Our beautiful, sovereign Lord, thank You for being our God. We love you. Please forgive us for our sins. Please protect us from all storms of all kinds. Landing On My Feet

Minding my own business
In my daily life,
A storm opened floodgates
Causing me great strife.

Gushing in, the waters came
Covering the ground,
Lifting me off my feet
With chaos all around.

As quickly as it came
The storm it also went.
The water had receded
My feet touched ground again.

I may have been disheveled
But I was not defeated
Cause I stood strong and steady
In the God whom I believe in.

The angry winds were blowing.
They shook me and they knocked
But even the strongest storms
Couldn't shake me off the Rock.

Luke 9:25 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?

Our God, our highest king, You are worthy of the praise on our tongues. Please forgive us for our sins.  There are so many temptations out there. The devil makes many things look good. Please help us to always choose what is good. There's not enough money, fame, or friends that could ever take the place of eternity with You. Let our praise bring You glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Much to Gain

Walking through the streets one day
A person stopped a man to say,
"Follow Jesus and receive
A blessed life eternally!"

"A life eternal, that sounds great,
But what about my life today?
I'd have to make a major change;
Give up my love of earthly things!

So much to give.
So much to change.
So much to lose.
What will I gain?"

"A life eternal you'll receive
And in this world rest and relief,
Blessings, peace, prosperity,
And your place in God's family.

A loving Father, faithful and true,
Patient and helpful in all that you do.
His love and compassion will fill every day
When you give up your own for Jesus' way.

So much to give
So much to change.
So much to lose.
But much more to gain."

Jeremiah 9:24.....but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the LORD.

Our precious Lord who shows kindness, justice and righteousness, we praise You. Please forgive us for our sins. God, we're so thankful to know You. We are thankful for the help of Your Holy Spirit to give us understanding. Please continue to teach us more and let our actions and words show others all about You and Your great love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Showing Jesus

I want to be a living statement
To what our God can do.
And so I must be careful
In the actions that I choose.

My words must be compassionate.
My actions must be kind.
My choices must be favorable
To Jesus every time.

My words and my behavior
Must point to Jesus Christ;
Proclaiming of His promises
That help me get through life,

Showing of His patience,
His grace, and charity,
Reflecting all the goodness
He is inside of me.

If God indeed is Master
Of the story of my life,
Then my actions should reflect that
And my choices testify.

Mark 9:23..... And Jesus said to him, " 'If You can?' All things are possible to him who believes."

Oh God, we are so blessed to have You as our God. You can do all things, for all people, any time, any place. What a powerful God we have. Please forgive us for our sins. We are so thankful for the things You have done, for it will remind us of Your power and Your faithfulness. Please receive our thanks. In Jesus' able name we pray. Amen.

A Way for the Possible

If it's not impossible
Then there must be a way.
With God all is possible
You just need to pray.
Tell God your desires.
Trust, and then wait.
Wait for God's timing
When He'll show the way.
Move when He prompts you.
Act when He leads.
Take your steps slowly.
Pray and believe.
Pray with thanksgiving
For all that He is.
Pray in your faith
And see how He gives.
If it's not impossible
Then there must be a way
Give it to Jesus.
Be thankful and pray.

Dear God, You are our very wise creator. You had a plan to create and You had a plan to save. Please forgive us for our sins. We are sorry that Jesus had to face rejection, be ridiculed, beaten and killed. We are sorry but so very grateful. We could never be pure and deserving if not for Him. Please be persistent with those who do not know Jesus. Let all who He suffered for know Him, praise Him, and follow Him. In His sweet name, we pray. Amen.

The Day that Christ was Gone

On Friday He was crucified.
On Sunday Jesus rose.
What took place on Saturday?
Search your heart, it knows.

Your closest friend has passed away.
Was beaten and hung to die.
What would you feel inside your heart?
I know my heart would cry.

It'd cry for all the suffering
That struck my best friend's back.
It'd cry for all the moments shared
That I just cannot get back.

It'd cry for the abandonment;
He must have felt betrayed.
Even His own Father
Seemed to look the other way.

If Jesus is your hope in life,
If He's your closest friend,
Then your heart, it knows the feelings
Of His followers back then.

The day after His dying,
Before the third day's dawn,
There were grief and reminiscing
The day that Christ was gone.

Matthew 9:21..... She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”

Our dear powerful God, You are so mighty and caring. Thank you for caring about us. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for healing bodies, hearts, and minds. Thank you for healing souls. Please give us the faith we need to believe in Your love and Your power for ourselves and for others. Yes, there is sin. Yes, You still love the sinner. And Yes, if they just ask they can be healed of that sin! Yes, Lord! Thank you, God! In Jesus' healing name, we pray. Amen

To Touch Him

Many came to Jesus.
Some for mercy.
Some for healing.
Some for guidance.
Some for hope.
A woman came and touched His robe
And instantly was healed.
2000 and some years go by
And you long to touch His robe.
But did you know you can touch the man Himself?
The word was with God.
The word became flesh.
And dwelt among us.
The word of God
Is living and active forever.
Touch the word.
Let Him touch you.
With His word
You will find rest,
Comfort, guidance, strength,
Protection, promises,
Grace, peace, mercy,
Healing, joy, and love.
Go ahead
Touch Him.

Luke 9:20.... “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”Peter answered, “God’s Messiah.”

Dear God, our Lord, our provider, our creator. Thank you for all that You are. Please forgive us for our sins.
Thank You for sending Your Son, our Savior, to pay for our sins. We pray that our lives will bring Him glory.
In His saving name, we pray. Amen.

You Are

You are the light that I see with.
You're the rope I hang on to.
You're the God I adore.
I love you, I do.
You're the rock that I stand on.
The cloud that I rest in.
You're the wind at my back
That puts me in motion.
You are the peace that I breathe.
You're the hope that sustains.
You're the one I can trust.
It's your love that I claim.
You're the path that I walk in.
You're the words that I use.
You're the calmness that keeps me.
I love you, I do.

Psalm 9:19  Arise, LORD, do not let mortals triumph; let the nations be judged in your presence.

Our dear, triumphant God, You are above all things and all beings. You are Holy. Please forgive us for our sins. Please keep each person in the palm of your hand. Protecting us from others. Watch over us each day and each night. Let us, Your children, become better supporters of those who follow you. Let us stand up for them as we stand up for You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Standing in Support

Standing in support
By kneeling down in prayer.
Thanking God that He is able
To be present everywhere.

Asking God to comfort
Those with broken hearts.
Asking that His wisdom
Be given those in charge.

Praying for the weak,
That God will give them strength.
Praying for a unity
That only He can make.

Asking God to bring the peace
That's needed everywhere.
Standing strong in support
By kneeling down in prayer.

Psalm 9:18 But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish.

Dear Heavenly Father, what a wonderful Father you are. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for taking care of Your children. Our children are Your children, help us remember that. They need you, Lord. Thank you for loving them and caring for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

For Our Children

Our children need your presence, Lord.
They need your loving hand .
They need your mighty power
On our nation once again.

They need a place of safety.
A place of love and not of hate.
We want our children to grow up
In a land both strong and great.

Where we remain united,
One nation held by You.
Our freedoms kept intact,
Our sense of honor too.

Our children need a land of peace
Where your ways are often heard.
A land of good and righteousness,
Dependent on your word.

This old world, it needs you, Lord.
Our children, they do too.
So they can freely give You praise
In everything they do.

Daniel 9:17 “Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary.

Dear God of favor, Your love is so special to us. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for hearing so many prayers that are coming to you this day. A common one is "Help!" We can't do this without You. Please help all who call on You. We ask You because we believe You hear us and will answer. In the helpful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

A Prayer that matters

On your knees
Or on your feet,
Doesn't matter.
Don't you see?

Folded hands
Or arms raised up.
Doesn't matter
To our God.

Your heart, it matters
To the Lord;
Sincerity, praise,
Heartfelt words.

Acknowledgment,
Other's needs,
Confessed sins
Are prayers that please.

God's eyes are open
To your needs.
His ears attentive
To your pleas.

It doesn't matter
How you pray.
It doesn't matter
What you say.

What matters most,
When you pray,
Is a humble heart
And a seed of faith.

Genesis 9:16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.

Our good and faithful God, We praise You for Your word, Your promises, and Your faithfulness. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for having full control over everything that touches this earth. Your Word says so, and Your promises say so. That brings us great comfort. We pray that all people will come to know and believe in Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

He is Faithful

As life seemed dark and frightening,
Hopeless, and unfair,
I looked outside and I saw
God's glory setting there.
A rainbow touched the sky that morn
In all its brilliant colors,
And reminded me of God's faithfulness
To me and to all others.
I witnessed His power in the shades
Of colors that I saw.
It calmed and reassured me;
That God is in control.
How gracious is our Father
Of all heaven and of earth.
He's merciful and loving
And faithful to His word.

2 Corinthians 9:15 13 Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 14 And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

God, You are full of mercy and grace and we praise You for that. Please forgive us for our sins. Thank you for the grace you've shown us time and time again. Help us to pay it forward and give that grace to others who need it. Show us who needs grace today. In Jesus' beautiful name, we pray. Amen

Giving Received Grace

Today I need grace.
So I'm gonna look
For someone who's burdened,
For someone who's shook.

Then I'm gonna pour out
All kinds of mercy,
Patience, and kindness
On all who are thirsty.

'Cause I know the feeling
Of being stressed out,
Hanging on by a thread
Lest I slip and fall down.

I know what it's like
To have feelings of shame,
To need patience, forgiveness,
And a whole lot of grace.

We all need a break
And this I believe
So I will give grace
To someone in need.
