Retired bookkeeper/comptroller now living full time as a 7th generation Sheffield Vermonter; Town Historian/Curator of the 1847 Town House Museum; Secretary of the Sheffield Historical Society and caretaker of the Berry and Ingalls family cemeteries. Hobbies include genealogy research, organic gardening, and hiking on the mountain trails here in the Northeast Kingdom. Married 34 years to my soulmate, Samuel. We are blessed and happily caring for his 90 year old mother Alicia.

This week's poem is especially comforting to me. Today we serve our first community lunch in memory of our friend Pat O'Hagan. Her death has brought our little Town together in fellowship.
